Mr. Jinqing Dong – Chairman of the Board
Mr. Dong has served as Chairman of the Board since November 2005. Mr. Dong has been the President of Dalian Dong Tai Industrial Waste Treatment Co., Ltd., a China-based company that is a 90% owned subsidiary of CIWT, since it was founded in 1991. From 1982 to 1991, Mr. Dong worked for the Dalian Environmental Science Academy, mainly engaged in the research of waste gas, waste water and industrial residue disposal techniques and also the evaluation of environmental effects caused by industrial projects. Mr. Dong graduated from Dalian University of Technology in 1982 with a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering. He has extensive experience in the waste management industry in China.
Mr. Jun Li – Director
Mr. Li has served as a member of the CIWT’s board of directors since October 2006, and as the Chief Operating Officer of Dalian Dong Tai, the Company’s 90%-owned subsidiary, since 1998. From 1982 to 1993, he served Dalian Vacuum Flask Factory and Dalian Yili International Chemical Co. Ltd as its Director of Technology and Chief Production Manager. Mr. Li graduated from Dalian University of Technology in 1982, majoring in environmental engineering.
Mr. Wen Jiang-Independent Director
Mr. Jiang has served as an independent director of CIWT since August 2010. Mr. Wen Jiang, 46 years old, also has served as a director of Andatee China Marine Fuel Services Corp. since July 2009. Since 1993, Mr. Jiang has also served as Managing Director of the accounting firm of Wen Jiang & Company, PC in Portland, Oregon, which provides services to more than 300 clients in the public and private sectors. Mr. Jiang has 18 years of experience in accounting, auditing, tax and international business consulting matters. He is a licensed CPA in the State of Oregon (1993) and a registered member of the PCAOB. Mr. Jiang holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Eastern Oregon University (1989).
Mr. Francis Leong – Independent Director
Mr. Leong has served as an independent director of CIWT since April 2009. Mr. Leong has over 30 years of experience in financing and public service industry. He has been a financial consultant of Sungai River Inc., an international financial consulting company, since October 2003. During his distinguished career in public finance, Mr. Leong has served in various positions as Finance Officer for the City of Calgary, Alberta, as well as its Controller of Transit Transportation, Waterworks, Sanitary and Storm Sewers, Assistant Controller of Electric Systems and as its City Treasurer and General Manager of Finance. Mr. Leong holds a Bachelor's degree in commerce and a Master's degree in Public Administration. In addition to serving as a board director of China Industrial Waste Management, Mr. Leong serves as a Director on the Board of two Toronto Stock Exchange - Venture Board publicly listed companies, i.e., Grand Power Logistics (GPW) and Boyuan Construction Group Inc (BOY).
Professor Chunyou Wu – Independent Director
Professor Chunyou Wu has served as an independent director of CIWT since April 2009. Prof. Wu has over 30 years of professional experience in mechanics and management. He has been employed as a professor of Business Administration at the Dalian University of Technology since 1992. He also serves an independent director and member of the compensation committee of Dalian Thermal Power Company in Dalian, China. Mr. Wu completed his studies at the Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management and Dalian University of Technology.
