Xiajiahe Sewage Treatment Plant
The first BOT project being undertaken by Dalian Dongtai Company is for a municipal sewage treatment plant in Dalian operated by Dalian Dongtai Water Recycling Co., Ltd.. The franchised operation is 20 years excluding construction period. The first phase of the project had been completed in August 2007, can provide for processing of 30,000 tons of sewage per day.
In order to achieve high quality, Dongtai Water Recycling Company has introduced a set of international advanced technology (CWSBR), premium standard of services. A second phase of sewage treatment plant will expand the facility to allow processing of up to 100,000-150,000 tons of sewage per day.
Dalian Dongtai Water Recycling Co., Ltd. has been put into commercial operation. The sewage plant can generate revenues approximately $1,000,000 per year, which can provide a stable cash flow for the Company. In the near future, we estimate that the operation scale will be expended to 100,000-150,000 tons per day, as the surrounding areas develop. Then the revenue and profit will be increased accordingly.
